Takbo! Pagod ka na ba?

2 Timothy 4:7 (NLT)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.

“May malaking kagalakan sa pagtatapos ng isang bagay na iyong sinimulan! Ang tagumpay ng isang karera ay hindi dahil sa kung gaano ka kagaling nagsimula kundi dahil din sa kung gaano kang kahusay tinapos ito” (Experiencing God Day by Day)

Christian life is not just that easy.  I want to share a bit of my testimony, I remember when I started to serve the Lord when I was 12 years old I’m so eager and  zealous to  show Him all the talents that I have, doing some bible studies, teaching songs to kids etc.  But along the journey of my christian life persecution, trials, busyness, temptation and many obstacles comes on my way. There is a time that I really wanted to quit I do not know how to face and endure all the pains that I received. But God did not allow that to happen He gave me a right path to run the race and strengthen my endurance to be strong enough.

“Maraming manlalaro na sa pasimula ay kahanga-hangang lumaro, ngunit nababalewala ang kanilang magandang pasimula kapag sila’y natisod, nasaktan, o nawalan ng lakas upang magtapos.” (Experiencing God Day by Day)

When will you say in your life escapade that “I have fight the good fight of faith”. Serving God involves the testing of our faith and character. He gave us the privilege to lead the ministry , from the start it all began smoothly, no hassles but for some reasons it distracted you with offends, busyness, compromising,  and the result of it we are not capable to lead the ministry that God has entrusted to us. It really breaks the heart of the King it makes Him so sad. “Don’t let the Distraction bring you to Destruction”.

Let us not be always have this  “Ningas Kugon” ( It’s that trait wherein you’re enthusiastic about one thing in the beginning, but then as time passes the enthusiasm fades away. It may also be defined as starting something and not finishing it.)

We can assume that we can make our own destiny with our own strength and with our dabarkads but it’s not, maybe we can but without God its vanity . The moment we accept Him in our life His guidance is there but He gave us also the “will” to choose and decide to our selves on what is to be done right and the consequences of wrong decisions. We may know everything about bibles but in the moment we have struggles do we  decide to obey His will and rely on His promises?

Paul is a model of life endurance inspite of persecutions, imprisonment, trials in life and trial in court, he really kept the faith and finish the race without wavering.

If we just take a look on what Christ did on the cross it’s amazing. God did finish the race on the way to the cross inspite of pains and offends that He received because of His love for us He FINISH the race and through that the gift of salvation for humanity is free but we must act on it Philippians 2:12b says “continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling”. Naisip mo ba what if He did not finish His mission on earth?

Takbo! Pagod ka na ba? Matthew 10:22 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.  As leaders we are responsible to finish the task that He entrusted to us, we are accountable for it,  finish what is being started.

Being a servant of the Most High God lets finish this race with fighting a good fight of faith, Lets pass the baton with joy and without insecurities. Success in life is not the real meaning of victories.

By fulfilling what God has planned in our life running our destiny with endurance we have fight the good fight of faith and finished the race with faithfulness .

Run the race with perseverance!
